The Association of Persons Affected by Addiction (APAA) is a leading Recovery Community Support Organization that encourages and support personal recovery by offering non-clinical peer to peer assistance that helps support recovery, reduce relapse, and promote high-level wellness in individuals, families and the community. APAA is a non-profit organization with the purpose of providing recovery support services for individuals in or seeking recovery from alcohol or drug addiction. We are a peer-driven and peer-led recovery community support program that offers peer-to-peer recovery management and promotes volunteerism within the recovery community. There is a solution.

COVID-19
APAA is committed to the health and wellbeing of its community while supporting critical recovery support services during these challenging times.

Due to the essential nature of the services we provide, APAA is open Monday – Friday from 9 AM-5 PM. APAA is in compliance with federal and state COVID-19 guidelines with social distancing, (PPE) mask, washing hands, sanitizer, and surface cleaning.

APAA will continue providing recovery support services remotely via telehealth. These services include emotional support, informational, and peer engagement via phone, video conference, email, and text messages.

APAA Living Room Peer Specialist Staff will remain in place at NTBHA/Dr. Louis E. Deere Behavioral Health Complex.
